Also licensed, in Palmerston North: 24 we could not score

These hold a current licence on the same public register, checked the same way. We could not score them because they have too few public reviews to rank fairly, many are sole traders without a Google listing. They are shown alphabetically, not ranked, and their absence from the table above says nothing about their work.

A further 6 businesses are counted in the licensed total above but not listed here: we hold a register record for them without a trading name we can confirm, and we will not print one we cannot stand behind.

Questions about this page

Tricklebanks has the highest LocalScore (86.7) of the 4 we scored, assessed August 2026. LocalScore combines public reviews, licence records and time in business. Nobody pays to be scored.
How many drainlayers in Palmerston North hold a current licence?
28 businesses in Palmerston North appear on the public register for this trade. We could score 4 of them; the rest have too few public reviews to rank fairly and are listed unranked.

No. Sponsorship is labelled and sits outside the ranking, and payment has no effect on any score. Claiming a listing does not change a score either.

How we scored these drainlayers

LocalScore combines review quality and volume, how recent those reviews are, verified licence records, and how long the business has been registered. Licences are checked directly against the relevant public register rather than taken from the business. Full weightings are on our methodology page.
